At Yeovil Windows & Conservatories Ltd we use the popular uPVC Liniar profile system for our doors and frames, manufactured by our sister company locally at our Stoford factory. This product provides excellent energy efficiency capable of achieving an A++ rating, first-rate security being PAS24 certified and is also a lead-free product. Using the same profile as our uPVC window system ensures complete compatibility.
Sourcing our materials locally means we can always provide a quick turnaround should a product be required urgently.
We offer a wide range of door styles, including Entrance, French, Patio with each door tailored made to fit your home and comes with a choice of superb door furniture.
In addition to uPVC, we offer a comprehensive range of bespoke composite and aluminium doors. Our economic composite door range comprising of a GRP (Glass reinforced Polyester) skin over an insulating foam and timber core is often a common choice as on the entrance door. While our aluminium doors are more expensive than composite and uPVC, they are highly durable being resilient to distorting, oxidisation and fading, while offering a choice of colours, contemporary styles and shapes to enhance your home.
Energy efficiency will be an important consideration in your choice of doors. All our door solutions are designed to achieve a U value (the rate of heat transfer) of 1.2W/m2k as standard, improving your comfort and saving you money.
Feeling safe in your home is a right everyone should have that’s why we only install doors that have achieved SBD (Secure by Design) status, supported by the Official Police Security Initiative. All our windows come with internal beading and multipoint locking systems certified to PAS24 (Publicly Available Specification) criteria, thus providing excellent protection and peace of mind.
Doors no longer just come in plain white, we can offer various colour choices ranging from a wood grain foil effect on our uPVC windows to a selection of contemporary powder-coated paint shades on our aluminium range. In addition, a differing colour choice on the inside of the window to compliment your home décor can be provided.
